New patron: Hank Marvin

International guitarist Hank Marvin has become the latest to jump aboard as a patron, following his visit to our Tuesday jam session some weeks ago. Those who were there were privileged to see Hank join in an impromptu jam with the guys, which was great. We're proud to have Hank as a patron and look forward to working with him.

Hot Harmonica Swingtime!

The next of our Prestige Performances on Saturday, 12 June 2004 features Peter Golding on harmonica, Robin Katz (lead guitar), Barrington Meyer (rhythm guitar), Igor Outkine (accordian), Billy Thompson (violin), George Trebar (double bass) and other special guests. This is going to be a fantastic evening of foot-tapping Gypsy jazz and Western swing that you won't want to miss. Tickets £5.

Sunday, 4 July & Monday, 5 July: French guitarist Matcho Winterstein with Colin Cosimini, Brett Lewis, George Trebar and Barrington Meyer.

This will be Matcho's premier UK appearance, despite having become a magnificent representative of the Jazz Manouche players of Eastern France. With the excellent Cosimini Trio on stage as well, expect a night of authentic sizzling Gypsy jazz.

Tueseday, 6 July and Wednesday, 7 July: The Angelo Debarre Quartet
Tickets £15.
QuecumBar patron Angelo returns to London with Christian Garrick (violin), Dave Kelbie (rhythm guitar) and Pete Kubryk-Townsend (double bass) for a repeat of his sell-out December performances. A must-see.
