Sunday and Monday, 12 and 13 December 2004: Lollo Meier and Tcha Limberger
Among the Gypsy jazz musicians that play guitar in the style of Django Reinhardt, there are a few that really stand out. Lollo, a Dutch Gypsy, was raised on Gypsy Jazz and started playing at the age of 12 with members of his family. Lollo was last seen in the bar in May 2004, where he sold out his two Prestige Performances and played an impromptu Sunday afternoon gig as well. Come along and see what you missed. The concert will feature Lollo Meier on lead guitar, Tcha Limberger on violin, Dave Kelbie on rhythm guitar and Jonny Gee on bass.
Tickets £15: send us a cheque with SAE, or click here to book online.
