Le QuecumBar presents:

The Swinging Garcons!

Le QuecumBar, London, GB

£7 in advance/£10 cash on the door
Entry Requirements: 18+

The Swinging Garçons was formed late in 2010 out of a mutual love of Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club, toast of the jazz world in the 1930s. Somehow, when they actually started playing together it all got mixed up in a jazz hot-pot, eventually including not only 30s swing, but 50s cool jazz, Argentinian tea-dance music… and what we loosely call ‘latin’… though not as the Romans knew it. The band plays a mixture of jazz standards with 3-part harmony arrangements, interspersed with hot club tunes!

Steve Knight : guitar, sax & vocals Andy Metcalfe and Charlotte Tupman: guitars & vocals Jamie Metcalfe : fiddle Derek Gayle : drums & steel drum Joining this evening, Eleazar Ruiz Spreafico : double bass

IMPORTANT INFORMATION – THE SMALL PRINT – PLEASE READ:

When you book tickets online, this booking guarantees you a table – PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT US UNLESS COMPLETELY NECESSARY. At very busy events you may need to share a table if there’s just two of you. You can make new friends! Seating is always allocated on arrival unless we have large bookings, i.e. tables of 5 or more. So, to get the best seats, always arrive early; doors open at 6pm, and music will start between 8 and 8.30pm. Our kitchen closes at 10pm. Your ticket purchase goes directly to musicians; we do not keep a penny of it. We therefore reserve the right to have a minimum spend on concert nights of £15 per person. We cannot continue to do what we do best without this policy. Finally, our staff work incredibly hard, and we do add service to your bill on concert nights.
