Serbian Accordion maestro Živorad Žika Nikolic and Susi Evans, a leading Klezmer clarinetist, meet on the musical journey through the Balkans, the place where east meet west, a source of traditional musical richness! From soulful Macedonian songs about lost youth , passionate Bosnian Sevdalinkas , mind boggling Bulgarian Racenicas and wedding dances Hora from Romania   and Serbian Kolos , Žika & Susi will give you the unforgettable musical experience ! On this occasion they are joined by Indra Buraczewska on the bass and Rastko Rasic percussion !

Živorad Žika Nikolic is  Serbian, prize winning accordionist who’s  musical journey starts in Kragujevac , his home town in central Serbia. Together with studying classical accordion, Živorad , largely influenced by passion for traditional and folk  music shared by his father and his uncle , has always kept in contact with his roots and grew up playing traditional music.  He studied accordion in Serbia , France and UK's Royal Academy of Music and performed in some of the most  prestiges venues  such as : Southbank centre, Kings Place  and Royal Albert Hall . He also performed internationally across Europe , Australia and New Zealand ! Susi graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in 2004 and continued her studies in Istanbul with Selim Sesler, with Nikola Iliev at the Plovdiv Academy of Music in Bulgaria, and with leaders of the klezmer revival. She is now in demand as a teacher herself and has been on the faculty for KlezNorth, Klezfest London, Kleztival Brazil and Yiddish Sumer Weimar. In 2017 Susi received an ARAM (Associate of the Royal Academy of Music), awarded to former students who have made a significant contribution to the music profession.
