Fusing the raw dynamism of Gypsy music with the complexity and composure of contemporary Jazz, Skylark Trio bridge the gap between the American and European Jazz traditions. They provide an eclectic combination of bebop, straight ahead jazz and Gypsy jazz, alongside original compositions.

The trio features vibrant rising star Tobie Medland on Violin, Cornelius Corkery on Guitar and Thomas Maddison on double bass.

Between them they have played at some of Europe’s major festivals and venues, including the Manchester Jazz Festival, the Royal Albert Hall, St. John’s Smith Square, Jazzbina Jazz Club in Sarajevo, the Cork Jazz Festival and the Mostar Gipsy Festival in Bosnia.

This Easter they will be embarking on their first UK tour, to play at top Jazz clubs across the country.
