We ooze Parisian soul that sizzles in the heart of Battersea!

“Le QuecumBar is unique and provides an irresistible combination of live music, great food and hospitality in a setting as alluring as a coquette’s boudoir.… the interior evokes the faded elegance of pre-war Parisian café society and hosts performances by some of the world’s greatest acoustic guitarists” Live in London

My London – Evening Standard – Cressida Bonas says; What’s the most romantic thing someone’s done for you?

*I love being taken to jazz bars and particularly a wonderful club in Battersea, called Le QuecumBar. I always have the perfect evening there — it’s intimate with live Gypsy swing music. *

Wedding reception review

We chose Le QuecumBar for our wedding reception and everything went beyond our expectations.

If you are looking for a venue with a real soul and a great atmosphere, this is the place. We had our wedding ceremony at the Battersea Arts Centre and in less than 20 minute walk we reached Le QuecumBar. On arrival Sylvia, Natasha and the team welcomed us all with a 'state of art' Bellini, then we had the buffet which was very good quality, generous in quantity and so much variety (a brilliant combination of European, North African and Asian dishes).

Sylvia and Natasha looked after us so well and soon the atmosphere was magic. The weather on the day wasn't good at all but we didn't even realise it; our guests enjoyed the beautiful rear garden anyways as Sylvia opened the umbrellas for us: together with the beautiful plants and the lights all around we basically forgot it was cloudy and cold.

Unfortunately the band we hired for the day let us down just few hours before, but we've been immediately supported in contacting the Gypsy Dynamite Trio and this literally saved our day. Natasha took care of selecting the music background before and after the gig: overall the music was great, we danced till late and had such fantastic moments.

All our friends were so happy they discovered such a hidden gem in London.

With its amazing design and style Le QuecumBar is a place with a real character: in order to get the most out of it, we recommend to let yourself being conquered and guided, rather than controlling such strong and unique personality. Thank you Sylvia and Natasha for having made this day truly special and unforgettable!**

TZIGAUNERS Gypsy Swing and vocals

Expect playful arrangements of standard repertoire mixed with occasional original material that pays homage this joyous music. The band features Alex Creese and Tom Williams on guitar, Dan Gaylard on bass. On this occasion they will be joined by the wonderful vocalist Phoebe Gorry. Multi-instrumentlist - David Vaughan presents his solo show

Following on from the success of his unique work as a singer-songwriter performing his own brand of ‘English Chanson’ at venues such as The Pheasantry in Chelsea, The Bull’s Head in Barnes and Oliver’s Jazz Bar in Greenwich, David Vaughan comes to the QuecumBar debuting a quite stunning new jazz-based solo act. This is no piano-bar performer unnoticed in the corner of the venue, Vaughan’s new solo act demands attention. Thanks to his multi-instrumentalist background and some extremely inventive contraptions Vaughan will be performing his favourite jazz standards plus his own improvisations on both vocals, piano, sampled bass, cajon, snare drum, hi-hat and additional percussion… mostly at the same time! With any luck he’ll bring his trumpet along too. The ground-breaking David Vaughan has come up with what is essentially a world premiere of inventive musicality.
